The Venue
Nehru Stadium, Cochin
April 3, 2006
The first two one-day internationals played here achieved 300-plus scores, then Zimbabwe bowled out the hosts for 191 in India's only defeat in Cochin.
Giant convex floodlight pylons arch over an impressive ground with tiered seating which can hold 60,000 fans.
The Kerala Cricket Association, for it is in this southern state where Cochin is situated, is reportedly planning to launch a bid to host Tests here.
For trivia nuts, Sachin Tendulkar has taken two five-wicket hauls here.
